I’m a chinese myself, so i can help you with the chinese part. As for the indian part, try searching the net using yahoo.com.sg cause in singapore, we’ve different races.
The chinese wear their traditional costumes during Chinese new year, also known as, lunar new year. For the ladies, they wear Cheongsam, mostly in red color. It is a one-piece dress. For the men, they wear ‘tang zhuang’ with printed pictures like phoenix, a two-pieces blouse and pants. These traditional costumes show the uniqueness of chinese like how the traditional costumes of other races to show their uniqueness..
